White Forest Cake

White forest cake is prepared with the combination of vanilla cake, whipped cream, white chocolate, and cherries. It was very delicious and just melted in your mouth. This super moist cake is baked without oven.

How to make white forest cake?



What are the ingredients for white forest cake?

Ingredients

For Vanilla cake

All-purpose flour-1/2 cup
Baking powder-1/2 tsp
Baking soda-1/4 tsp
Egg-2
Vanilla essence-1/2 tsp
Salt-2 pinch
Powdered sugar-1/2 cup
Vegetable oil-1/4 cup

For Frosting

White chocolate-50 grm
Whipping cream-1 cup
Cherries {glazed or tinned}

For Sugar Syrup

Sugar-2 tbsp
Water-1/4 cup

Preparation

  • Sift the all-purpose flour/maida with the baking powder and baking soda in a mixing bowl sieve it well and keep aside.
  • Break the eggs to a large bowl, add vanilla essence and salt, beat well.
  • Add half of the sugar whip it again then add remaining sugar and whip until fluffy and lite yellow color. I used my electric hand mixer.
  • Now add oil to it and mix well.
  • Add flour mixture and whisk until you get a lump free smooth batter.
  • Grease the saucepan with veg oil, pour the batter to it, level and tap on counter.
  • Preheat a nonstick Tawa for 5 minutes.
  • place the cake pan with batter inside it and close it with a lid.
  • Keep the flame on low, bake for 20-25 minutes.
  • Check after 25 minutes and if the toothpick inserted comes out clean, then the cake is done or cook until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Vanilla sponge is ready and allow it to cool.
  • For frosting, whip cream until soft peaks form.
  • Make sure that the bowl, beater, and cream are all chilled while beating.
  • For sugar syrup, boil together sugar and water until sugar dissolves, cool and transfer to a bottle.
  • For arranging the cake, cut the cake two layers.
  • Start icing, once your cake is completely cooled.
  • Spread some whipped cream over one layer cake, add some grated white chocolate and cover with the other layer.
  • Spread the Sugar syrup, whipped cream thickly over the whole cake.
  • Add some whipped cream into a piping bag, and make your own designs.put some chocolate shavings in the center and sides.put cherry over the flowers..Final look picture is below.
