Ingredients

For Marination

Boneless chicken-400 grm
Pepper powder-1/2 tsp
Chilly powder-1 tsp
Garlic powder-1/2 tsp
Soya sauce-2 tsp
Cornflour-2 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
Salt


For Gravy

Oil-1 1/2 tsp
Garlic-1 tbsp{chopped}
Onion-1 tbsp {chopped}
Onion cubes-1/2 cup
Capsicum cubes-1/2 cup
Soya sauce-1 1/2 tbsp
Tomato ketchup-2 tbsp
Vinager-2 tsp
Corn Flour-1 tsp
Water-1/4 cup+1 tsp
Sugar-1 tsp
Red food colour-4 drop
Coriander leaves-1 tbsp{chopped}
Spring onion- 1/4 cup {chopped}
Salt

Preparation
  • Clean the chicken and cut into small cubes.
  • Take a bowl add 2 cup water,1 tsp vinegar and salt mix well, put chicken into it and soak for 10 minutes. after 10 minutes drain it.
  • Combine well all the ingredients under marinade and marinate the chicken pieces with this mixture, make thick batter.
  • Set  aside for  1 hour and then deep fry them in small batches, stir in between and fry till they turn golden brown 
  • Finally, drain off the chicken pieces over a kitchen towel or strainer to remove excess oil .keep aside
  • Firstly, in a large Kadai heat oil  add garlic and onion, saute them for few minutes on high flame
  • Add soya sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar along with sugar and salt
  • Add cornflour paste {mixed in 1/4 cup of water}to it and let it sim for few minutes, mix well until the gravy slightly thickens and turns translucent.
  • Now add the fried chicken, mix gently making sure the sauce has coated well uniformly.
  • Add food colour{optional},onion cubes ,capsicum and coriander leaves.Do not boil. Mix well and garnish with Spring onion.
